The AiNed Programme Advisory Board

Sustainable links with stakeholders in the ecosystem are very important. The AiNed Foundation has appointed the AiNed Programme Advisory Board for this, filling it with people who are experts on one or more of AiNed’s sub-programmes and who are recognised leaders in the fields concerned.

In daily practice, the Programme Advisory Board acts as a sounding board, adviser and intermediary for the AiNed management on matters relating to the implementation of the AiNed programme. It has the following members:

Arjan van den Born

General manager, ROM Utrecht Region and the Midden-Nederland AI Hub.

Focusing on:

Applications of AI systems, SME valorisation, Breaking Barriers, Collaboration within the ecosystem, EU SME vouchers.

Pallas Agterberg

Challenge Officer at Alliander and also a member of the NL AIC Strategy Team.

Focusing on:

Applying AI systems.

René Montenarie

Operations Director of ECP, acting team director for Dutch Digital Delta and involved in various programmes relating to Human Capital, including the NL AIC.

Focusing on:

People and Skills, Learning Communities.

Maarten van Steen

Scientific Director of the Digital Society Institute at the University of Twente and chair of the Research and Innovation working group of the NL AIC.

Focusing on:

Knowledge base and innovation base, Innovation Labs and fellowship grants.

Kees van der Klauw

Coalition manager of the Netherlands AI Coalition and innovation strategist.

Focusing on:

Collaboration within the ecosystem, AI hubs and linking networks.

Henk van Houten

Innovation adviser, independent Chair of the AiNed Programme Advisory Board.
