The impact of AI as a systems technology on our society and economy will only increase in the coming years. The National AI Debate is an online event on Wednesday evening, November 1, where experts, policy makers and entrepreneurs will discuss the future of AI in the Netherlands. From AiNed, Stefan Leijnen, program lead Europe, will participate in the panel discussion on dealing with AI.
AiNed's strategic partnership with the European AI, Data & Robotics Association was signed during the World Summit AI 2023. There will be collaboration on encouraging participation of private and public parties in European AI initiatives, scaling up investments and a joint European strategy for generative AI.

Strengthening the position of SMEs with regard to the development and application of AI is one of the important goals of the AiNed Programme. The importance of this support is demonstrated by the high interest of a total of 52 proposals, of which 16 have been honored with a total grant budget of €3,550,000.

When a plant begins to experience stress, we humans usually don't see it right away. And once we do see it, it may already be too late to save such a plant. Gearbox, together with Koppert Cress and Division Q, is developing an AI tool that should make it possible to detect plant stress before it becomes visible to the human eye. All to ensure a better harvest.
