AiNed Foundation is responsible for coordinating and advising on the implementation of the National Growth Fund-funded AiNed Programme. As Program Lead you will work directly with the Board on the design and further implementation of the sub-programs of the AiNed Programme: Knowledge and Innovation Base, People and Skills, Application of AI Systems and Collaboration in the Ecosystem.

You have an essential role in setting up calls and custom grants from preparation, launch to impact measurement for the mentioned program components. Besides the board, you work closely with contacts at Netherlands AI Coalition, implementing organizations RVO and NWO and with TNO for monitoring and effect measurement of our Programme. Together with a board member, you will periodically submit plans to the Foundation's independent Programme Advisory Board. You operate with two other Programme Leads within the AiNed Program Office under the direction of the Director in which you have your own tasks and responsibilities.

In practice, it means:

  • Collaboratively develop the program components in consultation with stakeholders in the field in which you take the lead. With the result that Dutch companies and knowledge institutions are challenged to draft and submit innovative and ambitious proposals.
  • Guide the process to the final call or custom grant including making arrangements for monitoring and measuring impact.
  • Contributes to activities to connect parties and encourage cooperation, for example by organizing (online) meetings.

Job Requirements

  • You have an affinity for AI and the transformation it can bring to companies and knowledge institutions.
  • You have relevant experience in program management in a public-private setting and have a relevant network.
  • You have a completed WO degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Engineering Management.

What do we offer?

A versatile and varied job within an enthusiastic and results-driven team. Stichting AiNed is a flat organization with a startup mentality where people work hard with an eye for each other. We work partly from home and partly from our office in The Hague. Preference is given to employment for an initial period of one year. A ZZP/freelance construction is possibly negotiable.

  • One year contract for 24-32 hours (to be mutually agreed upon).
  • With us, the position is scaled in scale 9 (€4089 to €5756 gross) or in scale 8 (€3543 to €4975 gross) based on a 40-hour work week. The scale depends on your experience and education.
  • 20 vacation days and 12 scheduled days off (based on full-time employment).
  • Good pension plan where the premium is paid in full by the employer.
  • Reimbursement of cell phone expenses.
  • Opportunities to develop through training or courses.

About AiNed Foundation

The AiNed Programme helps Dutch companies and public institutions take essential steps with AI that are of great economic and social importance. The AiNed Programme was created thanks to contributions from a multitude of stakeholders, partners and participants drawn from the AI network and ecosystem of Netherlands AI Coalition The National Growth Fund has allocated a budget of 204.5 million euros to the AiNed Programme .

The AiNed Foundation was established to shape the implementation of the AiNed Programme , with responsibilities including:

  • Develop plans into concrete schemes and calls supported from the National Growth Fund Programme AiNed.
  • Monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
  • Further development of the integrated AiNed Programme.
  • Information and external communication on the progress of the AiNed Programme.

The Foundation prepares spending plans for the phased deployment of the contribution to AiNed from the National Growth Fund through the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. The Foundation provides a weighty opinion on the criteria to be applied for publication and allocation through schemes and open calls. The progress monitoring and the advice prepared by the Foundation form the basis for possible adjustments to Programme through a learning approach.
