As a systems technology, AI has a major impact on a wide field of industries and the people who work in them. Developments follow each other in rapid succession. The market demands constantly new knowledge and well-trained employees and students.
AiNed Learning Communities are strategic multi-year collaborations that provide a hands-on approach for enterprises (SMEs) and civil society organizations to increase AI knowledge and skills and collaborate on an educational level with carriers of AI knowledge and skills. Where joint learning through going through cases (practice challenges) are central to one of these application areas:
The goal of a Learning Community is to create and retain a high-quality and diverse AI talent pool of employees and students capable of taking advantage of and addressing AI opportunities and challenges. A Learning Community forms a knowledge booster for AI, delivers scalable results and combines practical cases (especially from SMEs) with knowledge building. This results in increased AI knowledge and skills among employees and students and developed learning modules that enable scale-up.
Companies and/or social organizations as well as knowledge institutions (from MBO to WO level) can be part of an AiNed Learning Community. Within a community we distinguish the following roles: core partners, team-leads and community participants (knowledge receivers and knowledge providers).
